Rachel Torn RMT

Calgary and Okotoks, Alberta

Rachel stands at the head of a table massaging the shoulders of a heavily tattoo'd man laying face down. She is wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt, her light brown hair is in a ponytail, part of it coloured bright blue. They are in a gym.

Not your average massage.

I help active people recover faster, move better, and stay injury-free so they can keep doing what they love.

If you’re tired of quick fixes or “just relax” massages that don’t actually help, you’re in the right place. The vibe is laid-back, the music’s good, and every session is customized to what your body needs that day so the results last long after you leave the table.

What I work with

  • If your body feels unpredictable or unstable, this is for you. I focus on hands-on work, breath work, isometrics, low-effort drills, core activation, and education to help you build awareness, control, and stability. When needed, I integrate cupping, IASTM, and taping to support feedback and proprioception, helping your body feel more secure and supported in movement.

  • Whether it’s a fresh injury or something that’s been hanging around for months, we’ll get to the root cause instead of chasing symptoms. Sessions blend soft tissue work, cupping, IASTM, taping, breath work, core activation, and movement drills with take-home education and simple exercises to keep your progress going between treatments. The goal is to reduce pain, restore function, and get you moving confidently again.

  • For people who train hard or want to move better in daily life. Sessions focus on restoring quality of movement, improving tolerance, and reducing setbacks. I combine hands-on work with movement and nervous system strategies. Tools can include cupping, IASTM, taping, breath work, and targeted drills to help you build control and capacity.
